The hotel was exceptional, thanks to its knowledgeable staff. Plenty of food for breakfast, which was outstanding to satisfy everyone. Our venue was in an incredible and amazing location down the San Marcos River. The service we got was good! Staying here for vacation was amazing, totally recommendable.

Breakfast with sausage and biscuits, as for instance. Location close to quick shopping for things forgotten at home and Gruene and entrance to river and the water park and river.

The Prickly Pear was really a great place to cut loose. We played darts, had a few beers and danced on the dance floor to the DJ. Was a lot of fun!

The breakfast offered here was fantastic and diverse, including potatoes, freshly baked biscuits, and waffles every day.

The breakfast selection,staff working the breakfast and cleanliness of the area was top notch. We stayed two evenings and participated in dining both mornings.

The only thing I would fault this establish on was the two vehicles which appeared to be disabled and parked in customer parking. It gave a poor appearance and made me wonder about the safety of my new car.

Breakfast is always a plus. Liked the free wifi. Great location and easy to get to. Rooms were a nice size.

The room was damp but that could have partially been because of the weather. But everything felt kind of wet inside. I had to clean the tub myself because there were nasty stains and hair in there. The tv would go from bright to dim constantly, making it hard to see the picture.

The hotel is exceptional with very helpful staff and a great overall experience, boasting a particularly good location near all attractions - don't forget to drop by Shipley Donuts for tea or coffee nearby!

The Prickly pear was AWESOME! Yall should promote it more! Beds were super comfy. Bathrooms could use some updating but they were ok. More cups in the room.

I left my swimsuit in the hotel and called them and asked them to send it to me and I have not heard from them since.

Support staff, were very nice.room did have very fresh linnen and towels.

Wet floors (Carpet), tub would not drain or completely shut off water, fixtures in poor condition. loose and broken tiles and light fixtures. I don't think the fixtures have been updated since I stayed there with my kids 20 plus years ago!

Friendly staff. No issues with reservation despite late check-in. Nicely kept grounds. It is an older property so you get a full size pool. Comfy beds and sheets were clean. Room clean and no weird smell. Great location and easy to find.

Toilet in our room had a problem with the flushing mechanism so it made noise unless I removed the tank lid and adjusted the flapper. I did not report this to the front desk until check out.
